Additional Information

I. Multi-Media Filter (1) Working Principle The multi-media filter (also known as a mechanical filter) uses a layered bed of anthracite, sand, finely crushed garnet, or other materials. A typical multi-media filter is illustrated in the figure: The top layer of the bed consists of the lightest and coarsest grade material, while the heaviest and finest grade material is placed at the bottom. Its principle is depth filtration—larger particles in the water are removed at the top layer, and smaller particles are removed deeper within the filter media. This achieves the standard for coarse filtration of water quality. (2) Performance Characteristics The multi-media filter can remove large suspended particles from water, thereby reducing the SDI value of the water and meeting the water quality requirements for deep purification. This equipment features low construction cost, low operating expenses, and simple operation; the filter media can be reused after backwashing, and the filter media has a long service life. (3) Application Scope Multi-media filters are widely used in water treatment processes, mainly for pre-treatment such as turbidity removal in water treatment, softened water, electrodialysis, and reverse osmosis. They can also be used for removing sediment from surface water and groundwater. (4) Product Introduction The multi-media filters produced by our company can be divided into manual and fully automatic types based on control type. The manual type mainly controls the filter's operation, forward washing, and backwashing through valve adjustment; the fully automatic type uses a FLECK controller to control the filter's operation, forward washing, backwashing, and other states. Based on tank material, they can be divided into fiberglass tanks, carbon steel tanks, and stainless steel tanks. The inner wall of the tank can be coated with epoxy or lined with rubber for anti-corrosion according to user requirements. II. Activated Carbon Filter (1) Working Principle The working principle of the activated carbon filter mainly utilizes the adsorption mechanism of activated carbon. The mechanism of adsorption involves the interaction among water, solutes, and solid particles. The primary reasons for adsorption are the hydrophobic nature of solutes towards water and the high affinity of solutes for solid particles; another reason is mainly caused by electrostatic forces, van der Waals attraction, or chemical bonding between the solute and the adsorbent. (2) Performance Characteristics The activated carbon filter can remove organic matter, colloids, residual chlorine, etc., from water through the adsorption of activated carbon. This equipment features good filtration effect, low operating costs, and simple operation. (3) Application Scope In the field of water treatment, activated carbon filters are mainly used to remove trace pollutants from water. Applications include decolorization, deodorization, and removal of various dissolved organic matters; in pure water processes, it can serve as pre-treatment for ion exchange, electrodialysis, and reverse osmosis to remove organic matter, colloids, and residual chlorine; it can also be used as a deep treatment method after secondary treatment to ensure the quality of recycled water. (4) Product Introduction The activated carbon filters produced by our company can be divided into manual and fully automatic types based on control type. The manual type mainly controls the filter's operation, forward washing, and backwashing through valve adjustment; the fully automatic type uses a Fleek automatic head to control the filter's operation, forward washing, backwashing, and other states. Based on tank material, they can be divided into fiberglass tanks, carbon steel tanks, and stainless steel tanks. The inner wall of the tank can be coated with epoxy or lined with rubber for anti-corrosion according to user requirements. III. Multi-Functional Iron and Manganese Filter (1) Working Principle The iron and manganese filter utilizes the catalytic effect of manganese sand to form an active oxide film containing crystalline water on its surface from trivalent iron ions in the water, thereby reducing the iron ion content in the water. (2) Performance Characteristics The iron and manganese filter can remove iron, manganese, and various harmful metals with a removal rate of up to 90%. It can directly treat high-iron groundwater into potable water and can also be used for decolorization, deodorization, and taste removal of water. (3) Application Scope Iron and manganese filters are widely used in the purification of feed water in industries such as food, beverages, medicine, electronics, and thermal power generation. (4) Product Introduction The multi-functional iron and manganese filters produced by our company can be divided into manual and fully automatic types based on control type. IV. Precision Filtration Precision filters use new polypropylene superfiber melt-blown filter elements or wound filter elements as the filter media. Depending on the filtration pore size of different precision levels, particles of various sizes are intercepted to achieve filtration. The filter media can be divided into wound filter elements, melt-blown filter elements, sintered filter tubes, etc. Different filter media have different filtration pore sizes. Precision filtration is a type of filtration between sand filtration and ultrafiltration, with filtration pore sizes generally in the range of 0.01-120μm. Precision filters can remove suspended solids and colloidal substances from water. Precision filters are widely used in pre-treatment processes in industries such as food, medicine, electronics, chemicals, and petroleum. Precision filters feature high filtration accuracy, low filtration resistance, high water flux, acid and alkali resistance, etc. Moreover, the precision filters produced by our company are low in price and operating costs. The precision filters produced by our company can be divided into organic glass shells and stainless steel shells based on shell material; they can be equipped with filter elements of different precision levels according to user requirements. V. Ultrafiltration and Microfiltration Ultrafiltration and microfiltration belong to the series of pressure-driven membrane processes. In terms of separation range, they fill the gap between reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, and conventional filtration. They achieve selective separation of substances through the microporous structure on the membrane surface, thereby achieving separation, concentration, or purification between large and small molecules. The pore diameter of microfiltration membranes ranges from 0.08-10μm, while the pore size distribution of the membranes presents spectra of varying widths. The pore size of ultrafiltration membranes is determined based on the molecular weight that can be intercepted, and can be divided into four types: 6000, 20000, 50000, and 100000. Ultrafiltration can be used alone or in combination with other processes, suitable for various production processes aimed at separation, concentration, and purification. It can be used for pre-treatment in the preparation of pure water and ultra-pure water for industries such as electronics, medicine, and food; purification and sterilization of beverages, mineral water, and drinking water; clarification and filtration of condiments such as alcohol, vinegar, and soy sauce. The application of microfiltration generally lies in the terminal treatment of pure water and high-purity water processes, mainly to intercept fine particles and bacteria in water, and can also be used as filter media for respirators.
